HRIS, GPS Attendance & Payroll Platform preview 1

Overview

Lumicore is a production-style HRIS (Human Resource Information System) covering the full employee lifecycle around attendance and payroll. It runs as two experiences from a single codebase: a mobile-first app for employees and a data-dense dashboard for HR/admin.
Key Features

Attendance

  • GPS-geofenced check-in / check-out with selfie capture and automatic late detection
  • Client-visit attendance with per-location geofencing
  • Correction requests (missed check-in / late excuse) with an admin approval flow

Requests & Workflows

  • Overtime with automatic pay estimation based on Indonesian labor law (PP 35/2021)
  • Reimbursement claims with categories and a full status flow (pending → approved → paid)
  • Leave management with annual-quota tracking (annual, sick, permission, unpaid)
  • Employee profile-change requests with admin review

Payroll Engine

  • Dynamic salary components (earnings & deductions)
  • A custom, sandboxed formula builder — model component values with expressions like (BASIC + PLACEMENT) * 8.33 / 100, using system variables such as attendance days and monthly wage
  • One-click payslip generation per pay period (21→20) with draft → issued → paid states, and snapshot lines so history stays stable when master components change

Scheduling

  • Weekly work patterns (WFO / WFH / off) and national-holiday sync

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: Next.js (App Router), React, TypeScript, MUI
  • Backend: Next.js Route Handlers, Prisma ORM
  • Database & Storage: Supabase (PostgreSQL + Storage)
  • Auth: NextAuth (Google OAuth for employees) + a separate hardened admin session

Highlights

  • Built a payroll engine with a safe expression evaluator so admins can model any salary structure without code changes.
  • Role-aware UX: bottom sheets, camera capture, and live GPS for staff; a dense, table-driven dashboard for admins.
  • End-to-end approval workflows across attendance, overtime, reimbursement, and leave.
